About the Role

The BBBEE & TA (DEI) Specialist will be responsible for proactively sourcing interviewing and hiring external talent based on business needs and anticipated future skills needs. This role will develop and implement talent plans and strategies to ensure compliance with B-BBEE legislation.

Key Focus Areas:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Plan & deliver local talent acquisition strategy & priorities
  • Own the delivery of the requisition management process based on external hiring needs and aligned to global processes
  • Engage with and nurture external talent communities and networks across all experience levels
  • Partner with People and Recruitment Marketing to advertise the employer brand based on target audiences and local market nuances
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions.
  • Develop and implement a WPP Media talent acquisition process.
  • Role out training sessions for hiring managers and holding them accountable.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening to interviewing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate data and recruitment workflows efficiently.

Global Responsibilities:

  • Set global strategy & priority areas tied to Global Business and People objectives
  • Convene a global community of recruitment practitioners to drive collective maturity & innovation
  • Establish global processes to drive consistent candidate & brand experiences across markets
  • Explore & implement enabling enterprise tech and/or solutions

BBBEE:

  • Develop B-BBEE Plans and strategies to enable WPP Media to achieve Level 1 B-BBEE rating.
  • Responsible for talent acquisition strategies planning and execution that promotes and positively contributes to achieving a BBBEE level 1 scoring and supports the attraction of skilled Black people into the business
  • Present strategy and obtain relevant approval and support from key stakeholders
  • Engage with internal stakeholders such as executives managers and employees to promote understanding and support for B-BBEE objectives.
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders including government agencies industry bodies and transformation forums.
  • Represent the organization in B-BBEE-related meetings conferences and industry events.
  • Prepare accurate and timely B-BBEE reports including scorecards compliance documentation and transformation progress reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of B-BBEE initiatives targets training and achievements.
  • Assist with the preparation of B-BBEE-related documents for tenders proposals and regulatory submissions.
