The Manager Transformation Portfolio Oversight & Reporting provides enterpriselevel transparency and governance across the global Finance Elevate transformation portfolio.
The role ensures disciplined execution through effective portfolio prioritization and alignment financial integrity (project expenses and benefits realization) and timely identification and escalation of delivery risks and roadblocks while supporting transformation leadership in remediation efforts. The role also drives consistency and best practices across project reporting standards and delivers programlevel insights that inform executivelevel decisionmaking.
This is a handson individual contributor role that leads through influencebalancing strategic portfolio oversight with targeted delivery support to ensure initiatives remain on plan and on value.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio & Program Governance
- Lead program-level governance for the Finance Elevate portfolio; ensure compliance with ODF risk standards and Delegation of Authority.
- Drive sequencing prioritization and alignment of the Finance Elevate transformation portfolio of projects to strategic outcomes resourcing/capacity dependencies and constraints.
- Own and maintain oversight of the consolidated program RAID log (risks assumptions issues dependencies); proactively identify escalate and track mitigations to closure.
- Govern and own change control for scope timeline and cost changes; assess impacts prepare decision options and secure timely approvals through governance forums.
- Champion portfolio data quality and standardization of intake gating status RAID and change artifacts and templates.
Business Case & Financial Oversight
- Facilitate business case preparation/refinement: scope definition benefits logic KPIs investment rationale and alignment to strategic priorities.
- Monitor portfolio financial performance vs. approved business cases including project expenses and benefits realization (timing magnitude run rate).
- Conduct variance analysis forecasting and re-planning; support intake and Transformation Portfolio balancing based on value risk and capacity.
Executive & Stakeholder Reporting
- Produce C-suite-ready executive reporting (progress risks dependencies financials benefits realization decisions needed); develop monthly quarterly and ad-hoc packs.
- Maintain stakeholder mapping and orientation analysis to tailor messaging and engagement by influence interest and decision rights.
- Orchestrate governance cycles (Steering Committees and working groups) document decisions actions owners and timelines; ensure follow-through.
Support Delivery Enablement
- Provide targeted project management and business analysis support in unblocking issues (scope clarification plan dependencies requirements hygiene RAID remediation).
- Coach delivery teams on ODF practices benefits tracking RAID discipline and change control rigor; improve consistency and throughput.
- Partner with Change Enablement to align communications/adoption plans with delivery milestones; support audit-readiness of portfolio artifacts.

- Portfolio reporting standards cadence and content quality for leadership and C-suite forums.
- Data quality standards and acceptance criteria for portfolio/PPM tools; reconciliation of status financials and benefits data.
- Initial impact assessments for scope schedule and cost changes; readiness of options for decision.
Makes recommendations on:
- Prioritization and sequencing of the projects in the Transformation Portfolio (trade-offs across value cost risk capacity).
- Change control approvals beyond predefined thresholds (e.g. material scope shifts timeline moves impacting critical dependencies budget/benefits variances).
- Resource allocation and rebalancing decisions to protect critical path and value delivery.
- Business case assumptions KPIs and benefits realization plans (including recovery actions for variance to plan).
Consulted and Supports:
- Steering Committees and sponsors on program health decisions required and risk posture.
- Finance Technology and Shared Services delivery teams on governance compliance PM/BA best practices and adoption/change alignment.
- Audit Risk and Finance partners to ensure adherence to controls and evidence requirements.
Minimum Hiring Requirements - Knowledge & Skills
Education & Certification
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or related field
- Professional credentials are an advantage: CPA PMP/PMI-ACP Prosci (or equivalent change certification)
Experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in program/portfolio/project management within financial services or similarly complex matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated success in portfolio governance benefits management and executive reporting across multi-initiative transformations.
- Experience facilitating business cases and monitoring expenses and benefits realization against approved plans.
- Track record of influencing without authority and partnering across Finance Technology and Shared Services.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with PPM and collaboration tools (e.g. Planview/Clarity/Jira SharePoint/Confluence).
- Strong financial analysis skills (forecasting variance analysis capitalization concepts run rate/benefits tracking) using Excel/Power BI.
- Advanced presentation and data storytelling skills (PowerPoint/Power BI) for senior and executive audiences.
- Familiarity with ODF (or similar delivery frameworks) governance controls and Delegation of Authority processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems architecture (e.g. Infor SAP Oracle) and finance/accounting applications.
