Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting and cost accounting functions within a manufacturing/aerospace environment. The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with GAAP maintain accurate financial records and provide insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Primary Duties

Manage the general ledger and ensure timely accurate financial reporting
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Support manufacturing cost accounting including inventory valuation and variance analysis
Oversee inventory management within ERP systems and support operations with transaction inquiries
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Perform balance sheet reconciliations (MST)
Ensure compliance with federal state and local tax regulations
Maintain and enhance internal controls supporting audits and compliance with aerospace standards (e.g. AS9100)
Partner with operations supply chain and engineering teams to provide financial insights

Required Qualifications

Strong organizational analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with ERP systems in manufacturing environments
Advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools
Ability to prepare and present complex financial data to Executive Leadership
Experience with cost accounting and inventory management in manufacturing or aerospace production
