As our Product Manager you will be responsible for leading the development implementation and management of the D&D product portfolio across the UK & European markets. Driving strategy across the gate & perimeter security sectors setting clear roadmaps generation plan focussed on increasing sales turnover taking market share and improving marginality and other objectives for all related ASSA ABLOY brands.
This role requires flexibility to work outside standard business hours and involves regular travel as an essential part of the position.
You would also:
- Take responsibility for managing product categories analysing market gaps trends competitors and value chain drivers to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead creation of business plans and drive new product introduction (NPI) and lifecycle management for UK and European markets.
- Have regular interaction with customers and stakeholders (VOC) incorporating feedback into product strategy and supporting sales initiatives.
- Manage NPD programs on time and within budget ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal processes.
- Oversee product launches define cost/price/value propositions and track KPIs including turnover profitability stock control and SKU management.
- Work closely with the wider marketing and technical teams to deliver customer-centric products and represent the company at industry events.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven Product Management Experience Demonstrated success as a Product Manager or similar role ideally with European market exposure.
- Has strong Technical & Process Knowledge understanding of product development methodologies and proficiency with project management tools/software.
- Has Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Ability to make decisions and deliver projects effectively.
- Has Excellent Communication & Collaboration Strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Is IT Proficient Highly IT literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project.
