Job Description
The HR Business Partner for Animal Health Brazil is a strategic advisor and thought partner to the business responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy across both commercial and manufacturing close partnership with the senior leadership team this role aligns business objectives with people and organizational priorities building capabilities strengthening culture and engagement and enabling sustainable business performance.
Acting as a trusted partner to management on complex human capital issues this role operates as a leader champion and change agent designing and implementing integrated HR solutions that address critical business and organizational needs. The HR Business Partner Head leads a team that partners across the HR function (local regional and global) to deliver valueadded services and solutions that reflect and advance the strategic objectives of the Animal Health division.
The role also plays a key part in driving global and regional initiatives (e.g. leadership profiles culture/Enterprise Leadership Skills deployment talent and capability building) and in leading organizational and cultural transformation across the Brazilian Animal Health business.
Main Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership in commercial and manufacturing to define and execute the people strategy aligned to business priorities growth ambitions and transformation agenda.
Lead and develop a team of 3 direct reports located in different sites as well as indirect teams under their scope fostering a highperformance inclusive and collaborative HR organization.
Drive organizational effectiveness including organization design workforce planning succession planning and capability building to support current and future business needs.
Lead and/or colead strategic talent initiatives including leadership pipeline development critical role management and executive coaching in partnership with regional and global HR.
Manage and resolve complex employee and labor relations issues ensuring fair consistent and businessoriented solutions that protect the company and reinforce our culture and values.
Provide daytoday performance management guidance to line management (coaching counseling career development performance discussions and disciplinary actions).
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation ensuring alignment with global standards and local legal and business context.
Develop and approve contract terms for new hires promotions and transfers ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness in close partnership with Compensation & Benefits.
Maintain indepth knowledge of legal requirements related to the management of employees and unionized environments reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with the Legal department as needed.
Analyze HR and business trends and metrics in partnership with local regional and global HR teams to identify issues and opportunities and to design integrated solutions programs and policies.
Lead and oversee effective thorough and objective investigations when required.
Champion and colead Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives for Animal Health Brazil promoting an inclusive culture and diverse leadership pipeline.
Embed and sustain company culture and leadership standards (incl. ELS and other global frameworks) across Animal Health Brazil acting as a role model and cultural ambassador.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree (required). Masters degree desired.
Experience as an HR Business Partner at least 5 years in multinational companies ideally in organizations with physical products (manufacturing and/or commercial operations).
Demonstrated experience in leading HR teams and influencing senior leaders in complex matrixed environments.
Proven ability to resolve complex employee relations and labor relations issues.

Requirements
Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to challenge and coach senior leaders.
Robust business acumen and strong understanding of commercial and/or manufacturing dynamics.
Negotiation and consultation skills including union and external stakeholder interactions.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and stakeholder management.
Proven management experience including developing and engaging diverse teams.
Previous experience collaborating in and coleading DE&I initiatives.
Portuguese required
Advanced English
Intermediate in Spanish will be considered a plus
