Our Preadmission Evaluation Unit offers support and comes fully equipped to help you do what YOU do best provide care for our patients preparing for procedures and surgery!
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Provides pre procedure screening prepares the patient family and significant other for his/her experience throughout the Perianesthesia Continuum for patients utilizing the Specialty Level I Trauma Operating Rooms Outpatient Operating Rooms and Anesthesia Remote sites.
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric Inpatient and Outpatient
SCHEDULE:
Full-Time 40-hours per week
10-hour shifts Monday-Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:
Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required plus ACLS and PALS preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1-year RN experience required including pediatric experience is preferred.
Education: AND/ASN required; BSN preferred.
