Job Requirements:
Experience & Background
- Minimum of two (2) years of staffing or workforce coordination experience required; healthcare senior living or hospitality environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience staffing 24/7 operations across three shifts per day.
- Experience supporting multiple departments simultaneously in a fast-paced service-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities & Competencies
- Oversee daily staffing for:
- Caregiver Services (Assisted Living & Memory Care)
- Food & Beverage (front of house & back of house)
- Review and screen candidates for open positions in collaboration with department directors.
- Anticipate upcoming staffing gaps based on PTO requests availability trends turnover patterns census fluctuations and seasonal demand.
- Proactively identify and mitigate overtime exposure through schedule optimization and workforce planning.
- Develop and maintain a reliable pool of on-call and per diem staff to ensure operational continuity.
- Partner effectively with multiple department directors to align staffing levels with budgeted FTEs and service standards.
- Maintain accurate staffing rosters and ensure real-time schedule updates.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in staffing and scheduling software required; experience with ONShift strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of labor management principles including FTE budgeting and overtime controls.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of tools.
