Som OT / SCADA Engineer arbetar du med design konfigurering och driftsättning av styr- och övervakningssystem i HVDC-anläggningar och testmiljöer. Du säkerställer att kommunikation datainsamling och övervakning fungerar stabilt och säkert i kritiska system med höga krav på tillgänglighet.
Du arbetar nära automation nätverk systemingenjörer och site-team i internationella projekt och ser dina lösningar tas i drift i verkliga anläggningar.
Hur du kommer att påverka
- Design och konfigurering av SCADA- och HMI-system
- Integration av OT-system mot kontroll- och skyddssystem
- Konfiguration av kommunikationsprotokoll (. IEC 61850 Modbus IEC 101 IEC 104)
- Felsökning och verifiering i labb verkstad och site-miljö
- Medverkan vid tester FAT/SAT och driftsättning
- Dokumentation av systemlösningar och konfigurationer samt Samverkan med nätverk automation och systemingenjörer
Din bakgrund
- You have at least a university degree in Engineering or equivalent experience from a comparable position
- Mycket god kommunikationsförmåga
- Erfarenhet av arbete med SCADA- DCS- eller industriella styrsystem
- God förståelse för OT-miljöer och industriell kommunikation
- Kunskap om IEC 61850 reläskydd eller kraftsystem
- Goda kunskaper i engelska
Meriterande
- Erfarenhet från energibranschen eller kritisk infrastruktur
- Erfarenhet av cybersäkerhet i OT-miljöer
- Erfarenhet av sitearbete och driftsättning

SCADA Engineer

Hitachi Energy delivers grid technology that supplies more than three billion people worldwide. We are now looking for an OT / SCADA Engineer to join our HVDC team in Ludvika.
As an OT / SCADA Engineer the role involves designing configuring and commissioning control and monitoring systems in HVDC installations and test environments. The work ensures stable and secure communication data collection and monitoring in critical systems with high availability requirements. The role collaborates closely with automation network and system engineers as well as site teams in international projects where your solutions are implemented in real installations.
How you will contribute
- Designing and configuring SCADA and HMI systems
- Integrating OT systems with control and protection system
- Configuring communication protocols (for example IEC 61850 Modbus IEC 101 IEC 104)
- Troubleshooting and verification in lab workshop and site environments
- Participating in tests FAT/SAT and commissioning
- Documenting system solutions and configurations and collaborating with network automation and system engineers
Your background
- A university degree in Engineering or equivalent experience from a comparable role
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with SCADA DCS or industrial control systems
- Solid understanding of OT environments and industrial communication
- Knowledge of IEC 61850 protection relays or power systems
- Good command of English
Meritorious
- Experience from the energy sector or critical infrastructure
- Experience in cybersecurity in OT environments
- Experience with site work and commissioning
- Swedish language skills
