Location: Phoenix AZ 85021
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support students with low-incidence disabilities in a classroom setting. This role involves working under the direction of the classroom teacher and IEP team to ensure students have consistent access to instruction and a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent access to instruction using the students preferred mode of communication (auditory visual or tactile).
Support concept development and promote active learning engagement.
Assist in the development of receptive and expressive communication skills.
Foster social and emotional growth by building trusting interactive relationships.
Encourage peer interaction and participation in classroom and school activities.
Provide physical assistance as needed including lifting toileting feeding and hygiene support.
Collaborate with teachers and IEP team members to communicate student progress and implement modifications.
Qualifications
Active CNA certification (required).
Experience working with children with low-incidence disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide compassionate student-centered care.
Comfortable assisting with personal care needs in a school setting.
