In this role you will enhance situational awareness within the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) by conducting detailed radio frequency analysis in support of cyber and intelligence operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct real-time and historical electromagnetic spectrum analysis to identify and classify RF signals based on modulation schemes and communication protocols
- Analyze wireless communication technologies including Wi-Fi Bluetooth cellular and related RF systems to identify vulnerabilities in devices and networks
- Perform RF vulnerability assessments and assist with developing and implementing techniques to exploit identified RF vulnerabilities
- Integrate RF analysis findings into cyber operations planning and mission execution
- Prepare clear concise and technically accurate reports documenting findings assessments and recommendations
- Maintain detailed records of RF spectrum activity analysis results and operational observations
- Advise government stakeholders on compliance with applicable RF spectrum regulations policies and operational constraints
- Maintain awareness of legal and ethical considerations related to RF-enabled cyber operations
- Support the deployment and operation of specialized RF tools and capabilities used to execute RF-related cyber tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support mission objectives and operational readiness
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree and twelve (12) years of experience
Education Equivalencies:
- High School diploma plus sixteen (16) years of experience
- Associates degree plus fourteen (14) years of experience
- Masters degree plus ten (10) years of experience
- PhD plus eight (8) years of experience
Relevant Experience
- Seven (7) years of position-specific relevant experience
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with RF signals RF techniques and RF-related technologies
- Strong understanding of wireless communication protocols and spectrum operations
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly in written and verbal formats
- Experience supporting intelligence cyber or mission-focused operational environments
