Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg
Location: Fort Walton Beach Florida
Job Type: Full-Time (Days or Nights Rotating Weekends)
Compensation
Pay Range: $26.40 $39.60 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus:
$10000 Day Shift
$15000 Night Shift
Shift Differential: $4.25/hour for Night Shift
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case basis)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 28-bed private Med-Surg this role you will provide high-quality patient-centered care utilizing a structured care delivery model focused on assessment execution education and coordination.
You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes while serving as a strong advocate for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment: Monitor and evaluate patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift; promptly communicate changes in status.
Clinical Care: Perform treatments and procedures as ordered; ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
Medication Administration: Administer medications safely monitor therapeutic responses and manage potential side effects.
Patient Advocacy: Respond to patient needs proactively to ensure a positive care experience.
Patient & Family Education: Provide clear explanations regarding treatment plans medications and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required (acute care experience not mandatory).
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of start date.
