Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist III (Senior Level Tier 3)

Location: Kansas City MO

Shifts: Days with rotating weekends 40-hour work week

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: $25000 for CVOR Tech III

• Shift Differentials: $3.00/hr for Nights and Weekends

• On-Call Pay: $3.00/hr

• Salary Range: $27.00 $45.00/hr (Higher pay for CV-certified candidates based on experience)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Senior Level CVOR Surgical Technologist (Tier 3) to serve as a subject matter expert and mentor in our cardiovascular operating rooms. This advanced role focuses on high-risk complex surgical procedures primarily in the first scrub role managing specialized instruments and anticipating surgeon needs. You will provide care for a diverse patient population from adolescents to the second scrub role you will assist with suturing suctioning and endoscopic camera manipulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Scrub Support: Handle instruments and equipment for high-risk surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile field standards

• Specialized Assistance: Perform second scrub duties including holding retractors cutting sutures and manipulating endoscopic cameras

• Lead Competency: Serve as the lead expert across multiple surgical specialties including Robotics Total Joints Neuro/Spine Burn and Vascular surgery

• Cardiovascular Expertise: Demonstrate mastery in cardiovascular and endovascular/hybrid operating room techniques

• Team Leadership: Mentor OR staff and provide guidance on equipment supplies and patient care

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years CVOR and endovascular/hybrid OR experience

  • At least 2 years in a facility of similar size and scope

• Technical Skills: Highly efficient in wire techniques and hybrid OR workflows

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)

• Licensure/Certification:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) from NCCT required

  • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment

• On-Call Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility
