You will take primary responsibility for analysis within the Data Integrity team including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and broader data integrity analysis. You will identify and explain systemic data failures provide insights into data quality and control issues and propose clear tactical and strategic remediation options that address root causes and reduce repeat data issues across the organization.
- Articulate clear problem statements that go beyond symptoms to identify systemic data failures across our data landscape
- Translate complex technical findings into clear compelling narratives that explain what broke why it broke and what must change to prevent recurrence.
- Expose data breaks through rigorous analysis of how data flows transforms and degrades across the endtoend value chain.
- Act as the connective tissue across data owners SMEs technology product and risk - leveraging domain expertise maintaining momentum and unblocking progress.
- Apply structured RCA and data analysis techniques including data lineage and flow mapping reconciliation analysis rulebased validation transformation logic review and identification of ownership control and controlpoint gaps.
- Drive end-to-end RCA activities ensuring data issues are clearly defined investigated and progressed with accountability.
- Assess current-state failures against target-state data management and MDM models to pinpoint misalignment and structural weaknesses.
- Define and track corrective and preventive actions validating that fixes are effective embedded into BAU operations and reducing repeat incidents over time.
Qualifications :
- 7 years experience in data analysis data quality or data management including leading investigative or analytical workstreams
- Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis and broader data integrity investigations on complex recurring data issues across systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with extensive experience querying and reconciling large complex datasets using SQL.
- Handson experience analysing endtoend data flows including lineage sourcetotarget mapping and transformation logic validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills able to translate complex technical findings into clear actionable narratives.
- Solid understanding of data governance ownership and control frameworks with experience identifying and addressing gaps that contribute to data quality issues.
- Proven experience in data management or data quality roles within complex enterprise environments (financial services experience desirable but not essential).
- Experience managing the quality integrity and control of core data sets including master or reference data.
- Experience working with data integration interfaces and APIs to support analysis of data movement between systems.
- Experience operating in agile delivery environments to track investigations actions and outcomes.
- Experience using scripting or analytical languages (e.g. Python) to support data investigation or automation is desirable.
