The Role:

As an Installation Technician youll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose troubleshoot repair and upgrade a variety of sliding swinging and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers recommended installation procedures and specifications.
• Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing any problems shortages and inefficiencies in job-site conditions.
• Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves co-workers contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned.
• Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
• Perform planned maintenance break-fix repair and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices electrical circuits and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames glazing materials hardware and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers end-users and contractors providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs. climbing ladders kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.

What You Will Need:

• 3-5 years experience of direct industry store front door installation or relevant industry experience Storefront Glazing Doors Aluminium Frames Electrical Glass Automatic Doors Hardware etc.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing storefronts aluminum frames and hardware (preferred).
• Valid drivers license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety customer satisfaction and teamwork.
• Ability to lift bend and use power tools effectively.
