Summary

TheFacility Specialistis tasked to take care of the companys buildings warehouses and production centers. The Facility Specialistis tasked tomonitorall facilities status inspect for problems issues and damages and request repairs troubleshootpromptly. It is also the job of this specialist to suggest and recommend upgrades to enhance company production further.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building painting and alteration projects.

Perform electrical lighting maintenance including tube bulb and ballast replacement.

Patch repair and paint drywall. Install interior artwork.

Repair furniture and woodwork.

Adjustmaintain and repair exterior and interior doors.

Maintain and repair locks.

Inspect and test fire protection and generator systems.

Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.

Install and reconfigure modular workstations.

Educational background / Work experience

A valid drivers license.

3 to 5 years maintenance experience preferably in plumbing electrical HVAC or Carpentry.

Skills & Competencies

Experience with facilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to make independent judgments with limited information

Written and verbal communication skills

Logical and strategic approach to solving problems

Ability to read and understand basic floor plans

Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic directions

Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions

Involves repetitively lifting and carrying items weighing up to 60 pounds; standing and walking during eight-hour shift; bending stooping climbing stairs and ladders and operating lifts.

For this position the expected base pay is: $20.75 - $27.75/ hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge skills experience geographic location and other objective business considerations.
