Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Scrubs: Navy Blue or White
Position Overview
We are seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week day shift assignment. This unit provides care for patients with cardiac neurological respiratory and infectious conditions in a collaborative team-based environment.

Patient Population
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 1 year MS/Tele experience
BLS (AHA) required
Strong telemetry skills required
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Use of Rapid Response Teams
Peripheral IV line care/management
Oxygen therapy (nasal cannula face masks portable tanks)
Non-invasive airway management
Isolation precautions
Unit Details
Day/Eve Ratio: 5:1 (may stretch to 67:1)
Night Ratio: 67:1 (may stretch higher if staffing call-ins occur)
PCT support for:
In-house phlebotomy team performs peripheral lab draws
Nursing responsible for PICC lines and central lines
Equipment includes:
Telemetry monitors
EKG machines
Lifepaks
Bladder scanners
