Job Summary
Join Mission Community Hospital as a full-time Night Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Panorama City this role you will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical moments. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population during overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver timely nursing interventions in the emergency room setting.
- Monitor patient conditions administer medications and assist with emergency procedures as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians healthcare team members and ancillary staff to provide coordinated care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a safe clean and well-organized work environment to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and communicate critical information clearly.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in an emergency room or acute care setting preferred.
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently (FT Nights).
- Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.
