Senior Manager, Global Tax Provision (Remote)

Avery Dennison is seeking a Senior Manager Global Tax Provision to join our Global Tax Provision team. Reporting to the Senior Director Global Tax Provision and External Reporting this pivotal role leads critical global tax provision workstreams and serves as the primary income tax liaison for Brazil.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy integrity and timeliness of our global income tax accounting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical proficiency analytical rigor and effective communication skills with a proven ability to deliver accurate results in a high-stakes deadline-driven environment.

This position is based in the United States and partners closely with regional tax teams in the Netherlands and Hong Kong.

Qualifications :

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience within a publicly traded company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm.

• Technical Mastery: Demonstrated competency in issue identification and resolution analytical flux analysis and the ability to oversee complex ASC 740 workstreams.

• Strategic Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to form actionable recommendations based on sophisticated scenario modeling.

• Systems Proficiency: Experience with OneSource UTP Hyperion HFM/Smart View and MS Office is preferred.

• Education & Certification: * Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

  • CPA (or equivalent) is required.

  • Masters degree in Tax or Accounting is highly preferred.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the presence and clarity required to interact effectively with executives operations managers and finance directors across corporate departments.

• Operational Style: A hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative team-based environment and maintains high attention to detail while managing fast-paced deadline-oriented workflows.

• Innovation: An advocate for change who looks beyond how things were done in the past. You should possess the ability to identify alternative approaches that streamline processes and reduce complexity.

Additional Information :

The salary range for this position is $170000 - 192000/year.

The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to
pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range
and in some circumstances may be above or below the range based on various factors
including but not limited to a candidates relevant skills experience education and training
and location as well as the job scope and complexity responsibilities and regular and/or
necessary travel required for the position which may change depending on the candidate
