Your role at AbbVie
As a Customer Logistics Planner (CLP) in the OUS (Outside US) Customer Logistics department you will represent commercial affiliates and coordinate across key functionsincluding Quality Assurance Global Technical Compliance Global Label Management Finance Planning and Franchise teamsto manage logistics activities for markets outside the United this central role your efforts will ensure seamless global supply chain operations and consistently deliver high standards of service at optimal cost.
Highlighted responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end order flow from SAP requisition through shipment departure controlling process and stakeholder communication.
- Build and nurture relationships across affiliates customers logistics partners and internal teams (finance QA planning).
- Create and maintain shipment documents for customs and payments ensuring legal and procedural compliance.
- Monitor short-term demand changes inventory levels and resolve customer or order holds quickly and effectively.
- Maintain and control ERP system (SAP) parameters and master data supporting accurate and cost-effective supply planning.
- Lead or support business reviews and regular cross-functional process meetings.
- Initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions for supply chain optimization.
- Act as process owner for key operational functions; lead/support projects as needed.
- Support audit processes and reporting such as KPIs and other critical supply chain metrics.
- Collaborate with other AbbVie teams including global colleagues in Zwolle (NL) & Dublin (IR).
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Logistics Supply Chain Operations or Business Management.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a logistics/supply chain environment.
- ERP systems expertise with SAP preferred.
- Strong team player with a focus on continuous improvement and results.
- Highly developed networking skills for building strong supply chain relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills for KPI and process analysis; strong organizational abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated problem-solving negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proactive persistent and resilient in the face of challenges.
- Eligible to work in North Chicago or Madison Wisconsin.
