Summer Basketball Referees and Scorekeepers (May-August)

Pay range: Scorekeepers $15/game (must be 15 by May 1) and Referees $20/game (experience with town winter youth league preferred)
Location: The town of Cohasset seeks basketball referees and scorekeepers in the recreation department. Reporting to the recreation director and the lead official at our Cohasset recreation summer basketball site in Cohasset MA.
Description of responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of all basketball officials is to supervise and lead children aged 6-18 through a summer recreation outdoor basketball league while providing a safe supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the Recreation/ Playground director and coordinators participating in training sessions maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members.
