We are looking for aMobile Laboratory Technical Sales Executivefor the Edinburgh Complex Fluids PartnershipDH1 (ECFP). A successful candidate will drive and operate the ECFP Mobile Laboratory working primarily with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises across Scotland and the North of England to help diagnose and solve industry challenges in the area of soft matter physics and complex fluids including e.g. foods beverages construction materials and wastewater treatment. The appointee will run and maintain the ECFP Mobile Laboratory plan engagement campaigns based on sector needs and geographical region demonstrating ECFP capability and working with colleagues to solve industry challenges devise income-generating follow-on projects and impactful outcomes.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
There is an expectation that the candidate will support securing sufficient funding from industrial sources to enable continuation of the role beyond the initial fixed term.
