KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities building strategic client relationships and pitching branded content solutions that meet client needs while ensuring seamless collaboration from initial outreach through to project execution.
MAJOR DELIVERABLES:
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within branded content and digital media.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to drive partnerships
Identify new market opportunities to expand the client base and revenue streams.
Proactively pitch branded content solutions developing a pipeline through research networking and industry events.
Collaborate with internal teams to craft customized branded content proposals that meet client objectives.
Drive negotiations and close deals that align with production capabilities and revenue goals.
Ensure clear documentation of all sales activities including client communications proposals and contracts.
Revenue Growth & Strategic Partnerships:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow the client base.
Identify growth areas and new market opportunities ensuring consistent business expansion.
Collaborate with the creative and production teams to align sales pitches with the creative vision of branded content.
Drive negotiations and close deals that align with the teams production capabilities and revenue goals.
Sales Strategy Idea Generation & IP Development:
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and pitch original branded content ideas and IPs (e.g. video
series digital shows).
Develop original IPs and branded content concepts that can be packaged and pitched to potential clients across various verticals (e.g. video series digital shows unique formats).
Stay ahead of content and marketing trends offering innovative ideas to clients.
Drive the launch and sales strategy for these IPs tailoring pitches to different industries and client needs.
Role Specifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or a related field.
Years and type of experience:
5 years of experience in sales or business development within media or digital content.
Technical Competencies:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
Strong understanding of branded content digital media and video production.
Experience in developing and selling original IPs and content concepts.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Passion for storytelling and creative content.
