Job Description Packaging Technician
The Packaging Technician is responsible for the labeling inspecting and packaging of vaccines while operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment such as labelers pick-and-place machines heat tunnels and vision systems. The role involves performing equipment setup and changeovers ensuring production targets are met and maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key responsibilities include inspecting products for quality completing required documentation accurately preparing QA line clearances and maintaining a clean safe and organized work environment. The position requires effective communication with supervisors and team members regarding production progress equipment issues and facility needs. Cross-training in other departmental areas may be required to support business operations.
Education:
- High school diploma required; associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- 1st shift: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
- $20/hour weekly pay benefits available
- 6 months contract with potential for extension
