Assembly Assistant Manager Aerospace Sector Position:

Assembly Assistant Manager
Location: North Bangalore India (On-site)

The Company: Our client is a growing aerospace manufacturer in Bangalore focused on precision quality and innovation in aerospace component production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Assembly Manager in supervising assembly operators task allocation and schedule adherence.
Support optimization of assembly processes ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and specifications.
Help troubleshoot assembly issues related to machining tolerances and parts integration (5-axis CNC VMC).
Participate in quality control checks and implement corrective actions.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Support training and development of assembly personnel.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and HSE practices.
Coordinate with engineering quality production planning and supply chain.
Maintain assembly documentation production reports and quality metrics.

Requirements:

7 years experience in aerospace assembly including 23 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Practical knowledge of 5-axis machining CNC and VMC.
Strong team management problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to read and apply technical drawings and documentation.
Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience preferred.
