We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide one-on-one care for a client in a Retirement Home setting in Burlington ON.
Position Details:
Schedule: 3 hours in the morning & 3 hours in the evening
Days: 7 days per week
Total Hours: 42 hours per week

Requirements:
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently

Compassionate patient and professional demeanor

Strong time management and organizational skills
-
Experience in dementia care (asset)
-
Reliable attendance and positive work record
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
-
Assist with morning and evening routines (hygiene dressing grooming)
-
Support mobility and safe transfers
-
Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required
-
Monitor and report changes in the clients condition
-
Maintain accurate documentation as required
-
Promote client dignity independence and comfort
-
Follow Infection Prevention and Control practices
-
Maintain a safe and respectful environment
