The Opportunity
This position worksout ofourPlano TXlocationin theNeuromodulation Division.Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
The Production Supervisorisresponsible fordirecting the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines ensuring they reachvolumequalityand cost goals.
WhatYoullWork On
Supervise daily activitiesof production personnel including scheduling task assignments and workflow coordination.
Monitor production metricssuch as productivity schedule adherence quality performance and compliance with safety standards.
Ensure compliancewith all internal procedures and regulatory requirements (FDA SAMHSA TUV CAPFUDT etc.).
Report quality issuesimmediatelyandparticipatein investigations and corrective actions.
Oversee preparation and processing tasks including sample preparation extraction data review or equipment operation depending on product line (e.g. GC/MS LCMS/MS).
Conduct daily meetingswith staff to discuss production status upcoming schedules and operational issues.
Provide coaching and disciplinary guidancewhen SOPs or policies are not followed.
Supporttraining ofnew employeeson processes equipment and quality requirements.
Ensure proper documentation including production reports shift handoffs and compliance records.
Promote a safe work environment ensuring staff follow safety protocols andlab/production practices.
RequiredQualifications
Technical Diploma
Minimum 4 years
PreferredQualifications
Bachelors degree in an Engineering Life Science or Operations-related field such as:
Industrial Mechanical Biomedical or Manufacturing Engineering
Biology Chemistry or Biochemistry
Operations Management Supply Chain Management or Quality Management
Or a related discipline
