Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery Room (PACU)
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 07:00 PM 07:30 AM
Pay Rate: $55 $60 per hour

Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide high-quality patient care. The RN will deliver care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation while supervising and guiding ancillary staff.

Responsibilities:

Provide patient care using the nursing process maintaining accurate records.
Assess patients throughout admission including physical psychological and social dimensions and develop care plans.
Administer and monitor patient responses to medications.
Serve as charge nurse and resource person for patient care and staff education.
Utilize computerized nursing informatics effectively.
Participate in unit meetings mandatory programs and Patient Care Assessment Committee (PCAC) activities.
Monitor quality and safety standards adhering to hospital policies.
Maintain professional development and up-to-date knowledge of patient care techniques.
Represent the hospital professionally to patients families and the community.
Provide excellent service to all patients families visitors and coworkers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current RN license in Massachusetts.
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS (maintained).
Successful completion of Pharmacology exam and Basic Arrhythmia Program.
BSN preferred.
Skills in IV starts hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator care required.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience (within the last 5 years) in ICU CVICU CVPA ER SDC or PACU; prior SDC/PACU experience preferred.
On-call availability for off-shift weekends and holidays.
Proficient in English (reading writing communication).
