Assistant Coach Strength & Conditioning

ASSISTANT STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH

Bridgewater College a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to begin immediately. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Strength & Conditioning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Organization administration and supervision of the intercollegiate Strength and Conditioning programs including but not limited to:
• Facility schedule design.
• Equipment maintenance.
• Intern Management & development.
• Strength & conditioning team program design and implementation.
• Knowledge and compliance with all NCAA conference and college policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Strength & Conditioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree required and Masters Degree preferred.
• Prior experience required.
• CSCS or SCCC certification required.
• USAW certification preferred.
• Ability to work varied hours including early mornings evenings and occasional weekends.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by the colleges auto insurance carrier.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Bridgewater College was founded in 1880 as a coeducational liberal arts college to serve the local community. Located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley just minutes outside of Harrisonburg and within driving distance of Charlottesville Washington D.C. and Richmond Bridgewater is home to a total student body of approximately 1450 from 27 states and 19 countries. Bridgewater students study more than 60 majors and minors in addition to four graduate programs and 10 pre-professional programs.
