Job Summary
Hardware Engineer II
Location: Madurai
Position Description:
Hardware Engr II is responsible for performing electronics simulation focused on PCB sub system and system level. This role requires an experienced simulation engineer to perform accurate and efficient simulations to validate electronic designs using industry-standard simulation tools and methodologies.
- Driving initiatives aimed at reducing product development cycle time through optimized simulation workflows and best practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results in design decisions and improve overall product quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform simulations like Signal Integrity (SI) & Power Integrity (PI) and various EMIEMC analysis (RE CE RS RI BCI ESD EFT & Other transients)
- Ability to perform advanced sub system/system level EMC simulations with enclosures and cables using HFSS HFSS 3D Layout and Ansys EMA3D tools.
- Understanding of HW design concepts PCB layouts & EMC standards and Setups.
- Proficiency in Circuit level simulations
Experience in antenna simulation is an added advantage
Must Have:
- BE/MTECH in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in electronics simulation tools such as Ansys EDT SI wave HFSS/HFSS 3D layout EMA3D Hyper and Maxwell
- Knowledge of various EMIEMC certification standards like CISPR ISO IEC etc.
- Experience in EMC design design reviews simulation and hands on testing.
- Experience in HW development process EMC components troubleshooting EMI -EMC issues and providing solutions for the failures.
Experience on standardization of process and automating simulation process.
