We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support both front and back-office clinical operations in an occupational health setting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering high-quality patient care. Success in this role requires strong teamwork attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients
Schedule appointments and answer phones
Take and document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture
Administer vaccines
Perform EKGs and POC testing
Provide front and back-office clinical support
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Experience with phlebotomy and EMR required
Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency
Effective communication skills with patients and staff
