Physician Assistant Interventional Pain Management Roanoke VA
Join a leading interventional pain management practice in the Roanoke Virginia area specializing in innovative minimally invasive procedures and comprehensive solutions for patients with chronic and acute pain. We are seeking a skilled compassionate Physician Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will collaborate closely with physicians to deliver high-quality patient-centered care through thorough assessments medication management and select interventional procedures.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a respected clinical team with competitive compensation-including a quarterly bonus in addition to base pay-plus comprehensive benefits and strong professional support.
Position Highlights
- Immediate opening MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Approximately 25 patients per day
- Some procedures (mainly performing intrathecal pump refills)
- Primarily follow-ups and medication management
- $1500 annual CME allowance 3 dedicated CME days
- Full benefits package (health dental vision and more)
- Quarterly bonus program in addition to base salary
- Competitive salary range: $125000 $130000 (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities Under physician supervision you will:
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
- Conduct independent follow-up visits per organizational guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and verify information at each visit
- Analyze test results to guide follow-up care and treatment adjustments
- Develop and manage care plans including treatment recommendations and periodic reassessments
- Provide patient education counseling and ongoing care guidance
Requirements
- Active Virginia Physician Assistant license (or eligibility)
- Masters Degree from an accredited PA program and current NCCPA certification
- Valid Virginia DEA and NPI (or eligibility)
- Current CPR BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical skills with excellent patient interaction and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and EMR systems
- New graduates or experienced candidates welcome to apply
- Will train incoming candidate
