Junior Varsity Baseball Coach

Uxbridge High School is seeking a dedicated knowledgeable and student-centered Junior Varsity Baseball Coach to lead and develop our high school program at the JV level. The JV Coach will work closely with the Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Department to foster athletic skill development teamwork sportsmanship and character in alignment with school and district positions works under the general supervision of the Principal and Athletic Responsibilities:Plan and conduct organized structured practices focused on fundamentals skill development and team proper baseball techniques conditioning and injury lineups manage substitutions and implement in-game of MIAA pitch count rulesPrepare athletes for advancement to the varsity proper supervision of student-athletes during games and teamwork leadership and sportsmanship among athletesCommunicate effectively with athletes parents coaching staff and administrationEnsure compliance with school district and state athletic association policiesQualifications:Previous baseball coaching or playing experience (high school collegiate or higher preferred).Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and to mentor and motivate high school communication and organizational Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to season start).Successful completion of background check as required by district (Fingerprinting CORI/SORI)****************************************************************************************************************************My application affirms that I have read and understand that the information which I have provided with this application process and the accompanying resume is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
