Location: Ipswich (Convenient for A12 and A14 commuters)
Salary:(Suffolk County Council Grade)
Contract: Permanent Full-time
Requirement: A valid driving license is preferred for moving equipment between local sites if necessary.
Detailed Responsibilities
Asset Maintenance: Maintaining the schools tools and machinery ensuring they are serviced and used safely in accordance with COSHH.
Site Inspections: Walking the site daily to identify potential hazards or maintenance requirements reporting major issues to the Site Manager.
Event Setup: Preparing the main hall and classrooms for exams parents evenings and school productions including moving heavy seating and staging.
Winter Readiness: Taking responsibility for salting and gritting paths during freezing weather to ensure the school remains open and safe.
