Our Opportunity
Due to continued growth NEPEAN Engineering are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter who will work on a variety of projects including producing one-off production components. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Prestons NSW.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Clean and prepare surfaces for painting using air-powered sandblasting equipment.
- Apply base coats and topcoats as required.
- Identify improvements and complete a Non-Conformance Report if/when required.
- Operate overhead cranes.
- Maintain paint equipment.
The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity the right person will have:
- Experience in industrial spray painting of structural steel products.
- Demonstrated experience with Airless spraying and a variety of coating types.
- Demonstrated experience with various hand and power tools.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Organisational and time management skills
- Experience in paint QA inspections and record keeping.
