NEPEAN Power is growing and we are seeking skilledElectricians to join our team. With multiple employment pathways available permanent casual and fixedtermthis role offers flexibility and genuine career opportunities within a leading Australian electrical manufacturer.

Based in our Thornton workshop you will contribute to the electrical installation wiring testing and precommissioning of modular switchrooms skids and transportable electrical infrastructure used across major industries nationwide.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering highquality electrical fitouts within a collaborative workshop environment. You will work closely with a multitrade team to ensure all modular products meet NEPEANs strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

Install wire and terminate electrical systems in modular switchrooms skids and prefabricated enclosures
Interpret electrical schematics drawings and scopes of work
Carry out testing fault finding and precommissioning prior to delivery
Work efficiently with fabrication and carpentry teams to sequence tasks
Ensure all electrical work complies with AS3000 AS4871 and relevant standards
Maintain tools test equipment and workshop machinery
Complete progress reports service sheets and documentation requirements
Support inspections logistics and client handover processes
Follow WHS procedures SWMS and risk assessments at all times

About You

To be successful in this position you will have:

A relevant electrical trade qualification
A current NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
A valid Driver Licence
Experience in electrical installation and fitouts (modular industrial or construction environments preferred)
Strong knowledge of AS3000 and AS4871
The ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Solid faultfinding and problemsolving skills
Effective communication and a collaborative work approach
A strong safety and quality focus

Highly regarded but not essential:

Forklift licence
EWP ticket
Confined space certification
