As a Product Sourcing Manager you will drive performance ensuring the triangular team and suppliers perform at their best.
Whats the job
- Develop sourcing competencies across the team and drive engagementretentionand succession plans
- Set clear teamobjectiveswith structured performance reviewsfeedbackand management. New Business Development
- Collaborate with the management team in communicating and implementing priorities for the buying office
- Work directly with the triangular team in developing robust and lasting relationshipstodrive better/more informed decisions
- Drive the implementation of the vendor mapping within your footprint through a combination of new supplier discovery activity benchmarking and developing bears (alternative suppliers)
- Develop andmaintainrelationships with new and existing vendors to deliver the product development and margin plans Contracting and Operational Delivery.Ensuringproject milestones are delivered on time promoting cross functional collaboration between all functions.
- Guaranteeminimumstandards and Kingfisher sustainability policy compliance
- Be accountable for the collection completeness and quality of the data to support article and vendor set up and maintenance in the company systemsand bethe Kingfisher point person for the vendors; responsible for ensuring their compliance to our policies and processes such as Brand and Packaging Audit and Factory Assessment Product and Supplier Development
- Manage forecasting & delivery of KPIs through structured monitoring reporting directionchallengeand support
What youll bring
- Strong negotiation skills including being able to think creatively
- Ability to thrive and make decisions in afast pacedenvironment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with an ability to challenge the status quo and work collaboratively with a wide network
- Experience of managing projects and holding stakeholders to account
- People management experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing and product development process withadditionalexposure to retail/procurement
