We are seeking a skilled Lead Business Process Specialist (Financial Systems Governance Lead )to join our Financial Systems Governance -CAT IT Division Bangalore Team.

The incumbent would Leadpartners with stakeholders across Caterpillar tooptimizefinancialprocesses develop andmaintainbest in class systems and tools and enhance governance and controls to supportvarious accounting and positionis responsible formaintainingand enhancing governance over Caterpillarsfinancial systemswithfocusontheCaterpillars CBS SAP role will alsobe responsible fortheelements of thedesignofvariousfinancial processes.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office KA-India

What you will do

Ifyourean experienced accountantor IT professionalhave passion forprocessimprovement enjoy working with financial systemsin aproject-basedenvironment this position is for Systems Governance Leadpartners with stakeholders across Caterpillar tooptimizefinancialprocesses develop andmaintainbest in class systems and tools and enhance governance and controls to supportvarious accounting and position part oftheCorporate Services withinCaterpillarITis an integral part ofgoverning developing and implementingaccounting and financesolutions worldwidewithfocusonAPACregion. This individual will work independently as well as within a large team environment(matrix-oriented structure) to deliverworld-class process and technologysolutions in support ofthe positionis responsible formaintainingand enhancing governance over Caterpillarsfinancial systemswithfocusontheCaterpillars CBS SAP role will alsobe responsible fortheelements of thedesignofvariousfinancial processes.

Role and responsibilities:

• Activelyparticipatein blueprintingreview and approvalof thedesign elements for existing and futurefinancialsystems.
• Assistextended team with projects and change requests intake.
• Serve as a subject matter expert that will provide direction during process and system design activities andassistin resolving business process issues arising from financial systems implementations.
• Work with business partners to standardize simplify andoptimizetotal cost of ownership.
• Liaison between technology and process teams andtheAccounting and FinanceProcessOwnersrepresentingthe Process Ownersduring financial systems design/re-designactivities.
• Definition of internal control requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control documentationor other statutory / local requirements.
• Guide and/orvalidateprocess documentation as part of the ERPs template(s) solutions.
• Work on a matrix-orientedorganization andleadsmallcross functional teams.
• Assist / lead the integration of focus facilities new acquisitions and ventures and/or new clients into corporate practices.
• Developingmethodologyand providing education to accounting and non-accountingstaffsand cross-functional teams.

What you will have

• 5 years of relevant job experience in Accounting/ FinanceITor related field
• 4-year degree in Accounting or Business degreeortechnicaldegree withAccountingexperience or equivalent
• Demonstrates problem-solving interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work in a global environment
• Mustdemonstratehigh levelsof initiative leadership good judgmentthe ability to communicate effectively a broad
• understanding of accounting business processes process improvement
• Understanding and practical knowledge of SAP and other financial systems.
• Work Timings: 01:00 Noon -10:00PM IST
• This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office

Desired Qualifications:

• SAP delivery experience
• SAP Certification
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of Caterpillar business productssuppliersand customers
• Project management skills
• Knowledge of Caterpillars CBS SAP system and other financial applications
• Professional Certification (CPA CMA or equivalent)
