Qualified Professional - Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
Universal Mental Health Services Inc. is seeking an energetic motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Qualified Professional. This role is responsible for coordinating and monitoring services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting individuals and their families through highquality personcentered services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate monitor and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with families service providers and team members to ensure quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet all regulatory and agency standards
- Advocate for individuals and promote independence inclusion and overall wellbeing
Education & Experience Requirements
- Option 1: A related Human Services degree and at least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Option 2: A nonrelated degree and at least four years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Desired Skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities
- Proficiency with computers and documentation systems
- Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
