Job Summary
Job Title: Network Security RSA Archer Specialist (Certified Archer Professional or Archer Admin)
Location: Austin TX (Onsite - Local candidates Only)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Certification (Mandatory)- Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
OR - Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator Expert Certification
- 4 7 years of experience in security/GRC environments
- Strong knowledge of RSA Archer architecture and data model
- Experience designing configuring and maintaining enterprise Archer applications
- Development of custom Archer modules and workflows
Hands-on experience with:
- Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
- Controls Assurance and Issue Management
- Forms questionnaires calculated fields
- Workflow configuration and approvals
- Role-based access controls
- Data relationships and automated imports
- REST API development and web service integrations
- Integration between Archer and enterprise systems (e.g. ITSM/CMDB platforms)
- JavaScript and jQuery customization within Archer
- Experience supporting enterprise risk and compliance programs
- Familiarity with NIST ISO 27001 SOC or similar frameworks
- Business requirements analysis and solution design
- Technical documentation (configurations integrations testing)
- Experience in change-controlled and release-managed environments
Level Description
- 4 7 years of experience in the field or a related area
- Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within network security and GRC
- Works under limited supervision with significant initiative and independent judgment
- Demonstrates creativity analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure systems by preventing unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to national security and foreign ownership restrictions
- Ensure information systems and computer networks are secure
- Protect against hackers and cyber-attacks
- Monitor network traffic and server logs for unusual or suspicious activity
- Identify system vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
- Investigate security breaches and develop remediation plans
- Utilize firewalls antivirus software and security monitoring tools
- Maintain compliance with applicable security laws and regulations
- Plan design implement configure and maintain RSA Archer solutions including:
- Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
- Controls Assurance Program Management
- Issues Management
- Custom Archer applications
- System integrations
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements
- Translate requirements into:
- Solution designs
- Configuration specifications
- User stories
- Implementation plans
- Configure and customize:
- Questionnaires and surveys
- Forms and data fields
- Workflows and approvals
- Calculations and data relationships
- Access controls and role-based permissions
- Data feeds and automated imports
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services to connect Archer with external enterprise platforms (e.g. ITSM CMDB risk platforms such as ServiceNow)
- Implement client-side logic and validations using JavaScript and jQuery
- Produce and maintain documentation including:
- System design and configuration documentation
- Integration specifications
- Testing plans and results
- Change requests and deviations
- Process transformation artifacts
- Standard project management documentation
- Utilize project management tools to track deliverables milestones and risks
- Follow established change management and release management processes
- Provide troubleshooting defect resolution and performance optimization
- Support user adoption through knowledge transfer and training materials
- Expert-level knowledge of RSA Archer architecture data model workflows and application configuration
- Strong understanding of GRC processes risk management compliance frameworks and security control assurance
- Experience integrating Archer with enterprise systems via REST APIs and web services
- Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery for customizations
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in structured change-controlled environments
- Ability to work independently on complex implementations
- Required Certification: Archer Certified Professional (ACP) or Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator Expert
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise RSA Archer implementations
- Strong background in information security and GRC solution delivery
- Experience supporting large enterprise or government GRC implementations
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 SOC or similar regulatory compliance programs
- Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Background working in information security risk or compliance teams
- Independent contributor within a collaborative cross-functional team environment
- Interaction with security risk compliance IT and business stakeholders
- Support of mission-critical enterprise GRC operations
