Position Summary:

Job title : Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: Bangor ME 04401
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension possible)
40 hours a week- Day shift

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for planning organizing and overseeing all nursing services within the facility. This role ensures high-quality patient/resident care in compliance with company policies and federal state and local regulations. The DON provides clinical leadership manages nursing staff oversees quality improvement initiatives ensures regulatory compliance and assumes administrative responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
Active unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
Minimum 5 years of leadership/management experience
Long-term care experience required; Acute/Rehab experience preferred

BLS preferred
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
