Job Summary
Job Title: Nurse Manager Long Term Care
Location: Geneva NY
Salary: $90000 $105000 annually relocation assistance
Employment Type: Full-Time Days Rotational Weekends Required
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a Long Term Care team overseeing clinical operations staff development and resident care. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering a positive professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead nursing staff including CNAs LPNs RNs and unit clerks

Implement nursing strategies to maintain high-quality care patient safety and resident satisfaction

Develop and support staff through education credentialing and professional development
-
Allocate resources efficiently to optimize operations and patient care delivery

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
-
Coordinate care across departments to promote collaboration and communication
-
Manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and drive effective project management

Utilize electronic health record systems and standard office software for documentation and reporting

Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork empowerment and staff engagement
Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nurse program

Current NYS license to practice as a Professional Registered Nurse

Minimum 2 years of recent management experience in a Long Term Care setting

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Long Term Care preferred

Experience with Special Needs Unit care is a plus

Strong leadership communication analytical and organizational skills

Customer-focused and compassionate approach to resident care

Knowledge of age-appropriate population-specific care
