About Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP):
The Resource Industries Operations and Products (RIOP) division consists of over 12 product lines 9 global manufacturing facilities and approximately 10000 employees. Our products services and solutions primarily support customers in the construction surface mining underground mining quarrying and aggregates industries.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the RIOP Division CFO the Strategy Manager plays a critical role in the success of the business driving key strategic initiatives and actions across RIOP and the enterprise. As a member of the leadership team you will provide important and strategic input and facilitation being a key enabler for the RIOP Senior Vice President.

What You Will Do:

• Drive partnership with the RIOP leadership team to gain appropriate alignment and understanding of key requirements to drive profitable growth.
• Drive collaboration across Resource Industries segment and the broader Caterpillar enterprise to ensure an enterprise-focus is maintained.
• Lead the development and management of performance metrics dashboards and management tools to drive visibility accountability and rigorous data governance.
• Organize and facilitate leadership meetings ensuring clear action items and timely follow up.
• Lead monthly business reports analysis forecast and insights. Present and effectively communicate results to leadership.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.

Additional Details:

• Location: Peoria IL. Travel may be one to two weeks per quarter

• Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
