Job Summary

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School in Woodbridge VA is seeking Instructional Assistants who feel called by God to lead students closer to Him. Candidates shouldbejoyful Catholicswanting to assist with student teacher and classroom Assistants support the teacher in the classroombypreparing classroom materials maintaining displays and bulletin boards in the classroomsupervising the class assisting with small group learningand performing other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or administration. Instructional Assistants are also required to perform other supervision duties (dismissal lunch recess etc.).

About the Employer

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School was founded in 1977 and is administered and staffed by the religious community of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia and a lay faculty. It serves over 520 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and three Arlington Diocese parishes: Our Lady of Angels St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Sacred Heart. It has a diverse student body with over 20 percent of the students speaking one of 17 secondary languages.
