Job Summary

Description of Duties: The Product Specialist is responsible for managing assigned product lines and driving the efficient launch of new vehicle applications to market. This role serves as the subject matter expert for designated product categories and collaborates cross-functionally to support design development testing sourcing and marketing activities for both new and existing ResponsibilitiesManage assigned product lines throughout the full product lifecycleServe as the subject matter expert for assigned categoriesLead and support new product initiatives to achieve market positioning margin and profitability targetsDeliver new product launches on time and within budgetContribute to overall brand product and line strategy developmentCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering manufacturing sourcing operations sales and marketing throughout all phases of product development and launchPartner with marketing to support product positioning technical literature training materials and promotional contentMaintain accurate and complete product data within the Product Information Management (PIM) system including attributes applications interchanges and coverage opportunitiesEvaluate new product ideas and market opportunities assessing impact to existing portfolio performanceCoordinate with forecasting supply chain and sales planning teams to support inventory availability and fill rate targetsAnalyze sales market and lifecycle data to provide recommendations regarding product status expansion consolidation or exit strategiesQualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in Marketing Business or related field preferredIn lieu of a degree 24 years of related experience and/or training will be consideredBasic automotive knowledge and industry experience requiredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences (customers vendors and internal teams)Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear and professional documentationAbility to read interpret and develop technical documentation related to company productsProficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing qualityConsistent ability to meet deadlinesBasic Requirements:No written counselings inclusive of COEs for Attendance Conduct Safety or Quality within the prior two year periodWe offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
