Scope of Work / Responsibilities:
- Provide licensed RN services for Radcliff Veterans Center
- Maintain credentialing references drug test background check and TB test
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Participate in interdisciplinary team
- Develop diagnosis list and determine primary diagnosis
- Coordinate assessment calendars and MDS scheduling
- Conduct admission tracking and MDS completion
- Complete nursing sections and interdisciplinary care plans
- Transmit MDS to CMS/VA and review validation reports
- Provide regulatory monitoring training and coaching to facility staff
- Review Medicare resident progress notes
- Provide monthly site visits
- Assist with restorative nursing education and regulatory compliance
- Maintain malpractice insurance and meet vaccination/training requirements
Qualifications:
- Must hold Registered Nursing (RN) license
- CPR certification required
- Experience with MDS and RAI processes
- Prior consulting/auditing experience related to regulatory compliance MDS coding QAPI and 5-Star rating preferred
- Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid long-term care providers preferred
- Ability to process high volume of data accurately
