Job Summary
CFC Recycling is looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks trailers and heavy equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Repair brakes suspension steering and air systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and engine performance issues
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure equipment is road-safe
- Maintain service records and communicate repair needs to management
- Keep shop and work areas clean safe and organized
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Respond to roadside repairs/ breakdowns when needed
- Inspect and replace tiresrimshubsbearings and related components
- Ensure that all work meets DOTOSHA and company standards
- Keep accurate records of laborparts used and completed orders
- Assist with other equipment issuesset-up preventative schedules and planning
Qualifications
- 2 years diesel mechanic experience preferred
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Valid drivers license required (CDL is a plus)
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Welding / fabrication experience
- Hydraulic system experience
- Trailer repair experience
- Experience with loaders skid steers excavators or recycling equipment
