DescriptionWe are currently recruitingfor an experienced documentation specialist for the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Mutual Funds legal groups to support the J.P. Morgan registered mutual funds and ETFs (together the Funds) and their registration with the SEC. The position provides exposure to all aspects of the Funds business and to the asset and wealth management legal groups. It is an opportunity to work with an exciting demanding and growth business.
Job Requirements:
The individual will be responsible for the independent preparation and review of offering documents regulatory filings and coordination of board document preparation for the Funds while working in a collaborative team particular the individual will be responsible for drafting and updating and utilizing technology to input changes to JPMorgan Fund offering documents and compiling and coordinating preparation of board documents.
This will include both the creation of new funds and the maintenance of existing funds and strategies. Comfort with using technology and willingness to learn and utilize registration statement software to perform work is a requirement of the position.
The individual should have experience preparing mutual fund and ETF prospectuses summary prospectuses and statements of additional information or comparable experience.
Experience working independently with financial printers familiarity with the SEC filing process and comfort utilizing technology are preferred. Experience with other mutual fund and investment-related matters such as review of annual and semi-annual reports is a plus.
The individual should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills in order to work collaboratively with other documentation specialists and attorneys in the group as well as to work with personnel from all areas of the business supporting the Funds including product strategy and development fund administration marketing risk compliance and portfolio management.
Qualifications:
- Law Degree is highly desirable; admission to practice is not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn and utilize registration statement software to perform work functions
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities at any given moment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple business and support groups
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
