Compensation
Travelers: Up to $2900 per week (Gross)
Shift Details
Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 34.5
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct patient care in an Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health setting within a secure/correctional unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric nursing care while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients
Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
Administer medications and manage individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate timely clinical documentation
Ensure patient and staff safety in a secure unit environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience (Required)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Active New York State RN License
NYSED Primary Source Verification
AHA BLS Certification
