Job Summary
Summary: St. Alexius Health Bismarck is in need of a GI physician. General GI is ok ERCP candidates will move to the top of the list Schedule/Availability Requirements:November 23 thru 29th ending morning of 30thDecember 23 thru Jan 3 ending morning of 4th24 hour call with hospital rounding in house for 8 hours--procedures and rounding. Rounding time is dependent on how many patients are on consultative service at the time but flexible. There will not be another Gastroenterologist present while the locum is on assignment. Locums will not be supervising other healthcare providersRequired Procedures:ColonoscopyBiopsyPolypectomyProctoscopy / Flexible SigmoidoscopyHemorrhoidal BandingUpper GI EndoscopyPEGEsophageal Variceal BandingBanding Lesions - Management of acute GI bleedDilationHIGHLY PREFERRED: ERCPManagement of hospitalized GI patients
