Monday Wednesday & Friday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Assistant to support both front-office and back-office clinical operations in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and room patients in a professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls
Obtain and document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture
Administer vaccines and injections
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Provide general clinical and administrative support
Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems
Promote a collaborative and patient-focused work environment

Qualifications

13 years of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
EMR experience required
Current BLS or CPR certification required
Strong communication organizational and computer skills
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
